Enough Already!

Are you ready to empower your student or your child with improved mental health? Social-Emotional Learning is defined as the process of developing the self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school, work, and life success. The pandemic, lockdowns, quarantines, and current world events have turned our children's worlds upside down. Sadly, many have considered suicide or self-harm as a result of the increased stress, depression, and anxiety that they have faced.

It's Time for a Solution!

Choosing Life...Choosing Hope is a social-emotional skills-building guide that was born out of an interactive workshop that I presented for the Fredrick County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and Charles County Public Schools (MD) in 2022. This guide will be comprised of 11 guided lessons that can be led by a parent, teacher, mental health professional, or community/volunteer worker. This guide will not take the place of therapy but serves as an opportunity to teach children coping skills. problems solving skills, and better alternatives so they can WIN at LIFE!
